:: First Day of School ::

:: WoW!!! I can't believe how quickly September, and now October has flown by! Geesh, what a whirlwind month around here! ::

:: Well, even though I'm behind on stuff from Summer -- I wanted to get up the photos of the boys first day of school, this year we had a couple weeks worth of graduated entry for our two preschool boys. So long it was almost painful, as of the end of September the boys were still fighting over whose 1st day it was, again! HA!!! ::

:: Here is our first 4 year old Preschooler...all ready for his first official day. Poor Cole was so upset that he didn't get to go too -- Made me think that maybe we should have put them in the split class together ::

:: The boys were in the mood for taking photos on Jacobs first day, of course, cause we were short on time that morning ;) ::

:: Here are the photos of Cole's first day of school. Once I got Cole to school on his first day I knew that we had made the right decision putting them in separate classes. Cole did famously well going in by himself. He did ask me to stay and I told him he didn't want me to, and he carried on like a champ ::

:: He was so cute when he met me after class, the first thing he said to me was "I didnint hit anyone Mama!" last year we had issue with Jacob hitting kids in his class and so Cole heard me asking JJ every day last year if he had been nice or if he had hit any of his friends...so I guess he assumed that it was important information to relay. He still tells me every day if he was nice or not. So cute! ::

:: Hoping to be back sooner than later with other updates on what me and the boys have been up to!

:: Jack Johnson ::

*I'm back dating this for blurb purposes ;)

:: On October 1st the day my niece was born -- we actually got the call that she arrived on our drive into the big city, we were on our way to dinner and the Jack Johnson concert with our friends M&L ::

:: This was the gift I got Paul for his birthday and it was a fabulous time! ::

:: We went to a stunning little restaurant in Gastown in the big city. It's called Chill Winston, and chill it was..ahh, the food was awesome and the atmosphere was just as good ::

:: Lisa and I enjoying our appy's and drinks ::

:: Here is M&L in Gastown ::

:: Here we are just outside the restaurant --- ahhhhhh, I love Gastown! ::

:: After dinner we headed straight to the concert - and what a concert it was! Honestly was the best concert I had ever been to, other than the horrible smoke from people around us - it was fabulous! ::

:: Perfect mix of songs and entertainment, the perfect start to our adventure {just after this concert we left for Hawaii} - Thanks to Aunty L for taking care of the boys for us, had no idea we could feed you in animal crackers ;) ::

:: Year 8 ::

:: Today marks the 8th year we have been married, has it really been 8 years!?!? It doesn't feel like it, however when I scan the years back in my mind, it does feel like it. In a good way though
::

:: Like many couples past the honeymoon stage, we've had many up's and downs, in's and out's {forgive the pun} and plenty more to look forward to ::

:: Paul is my man, he's mine and that's all that matters. I would never call him my prince, I have that place reserved in my heart for my Heavenly Father, however, he's my no. 1 next to Him. Paul knows me, sometimes better than I know myself. He's where I find home, and that's an amazing feeling ::

:: Today and always I love you...in the everydayness of life. I still love you, but it's because it's with you that makes it special ::

:: LoveYouBabe ::

:: We were downtown this past weekend to celebrate with a spa date, sleepover downtown, dinner out, shopping and some extra little surprises as well. But before we headed downtown we had a photo shoot with the terribly talented Miss. Jamie Delaine. You can see the photos she captured here on her blog - thanks again Auntie Jamie! You're fabulous! ::

Ps. I have so much to catch up on, it's a little overwhelming! But I will get to it eventually, so stay tuned!

:: WIWW ::

I will be posting a "What I Wore Wednesday" edition today, but my photos are on Mr. L's computer and he's currently in Kelowna, so when he gets home tonight and I have a moment...I'll post them {as sad as they may be!}

:: This is all I's got! Honestly I thought I had more photos - obviously not! Ha! ::

:: so here is the out fit I wore on our drive to the wedding - Top: Target, Jeans: Hand-me-down (thanks Lise!), Shoes: Target ::

:: Here we go again ::

:: Tomorrow is the first day of school for us, it's Cole's turn this time...ohhh, this Mama's heart is going to break, I'm sure! Sending my "baby" off to school, it can't be this time already!?!?! He and I had a little cry about it today, I was tearing up and the sweet little guy did too, did this Mama's heart good ;) ::

:: JJ's first day is Friday, this is going to be a great year for him and yet I'm sad that this is his last year in preschool. It'll be so good for him and yet I can't believe that he's 4 and seems so grown up! ::

:: So that's what we're up to today, preparing to get these boy off to school in proper fashion! Hope y'all are having a great afternoon and getting into the whole school thing again! ::

:: L&L Wed ::

:: This past Saturday Mr. L & I had the pleasure of joining with my Dad's side of the family for my second cousins wedding {my cousin is the bride}, her Mom is my first cousin...confused yet ;) ::

:: Okay, on to the photos {click on photos for a closer look}...here is the groom with his Dad {a Southern Minister...he had the greatest accent!} along with some of his best men and the flower girls, one of which is my third cousin...sweet Rachel ::

:: Mother of the Bride {my cousin} and Mother of the Groom - both were stunning and looked far too young to be marrying off their children! ::

:: Enter the bride & her Daddy {Also a Minister} ::

:: Giving Away or Joining Together, both vital times in both the parents and couples lives ::

:: There is nothing really special about this photo, I just like it. In it are my three cousins from my Uncle Roger & Aunty Vicki, Pam {Mother of the Bride}, Cheryl {Aunty to the Bride} & Lyle {Uncle to the Bride and father of the two ring bearers and one of the flower girls} ::

:: Signing to make it all official & his parents watching on ::

:: My Uncle {also a Minister, see a pattern here!?!!?} charged the couple and blessed their marriage ::

:: Sealed with a Kiss ::

:: Mr&Mrs ::

:: Lovely Couple ::

:: Once on site for the reception, the families gathered for photos. Here is his immediate family - both his sisters were in the wedding as well as his brother in law -- Such a beautiful family! ::

:: The Cake ::

:: The Bridal Party..and apparently it could have been even bigger! These people are well loved and love large! ::

:: EDITED TO SAY :: My most favorite line of the day was when my cousin Jordan {brother of the bride & MC (featured in photo above second from left at the back)} stated in his welcome to the guest that my Grandma {his Great Grandma} couldn't be in attendance so he said he wanted to make sure to make a `Shout Out to Grandma Rosie` - seriously made me die! Jord, you did a fabulous job as Master of Ceremonies - So there is a shout out to you ;) Ps. you need to update your blog...it`s seriously out of date :P ::

:: Here is the whole McC family that was able to attend the wedding ::

:: Here are two of my cousin Lyle's kids that Mr. L captured, so cute eh? ::

:: Cutting of the cake, sorry about your heads L&L, I had to grab the shot while I had others standing around me, thought it was cute enough to post though ;) ::

:: Centerpiece detials ::

:: Congratulations L&L --- Hope you're life is full of love and overflowing with blessings! You're a great match and feel blessed that we got to take part in such a special day! ::
