:: Monster Cookies ::

:: This afternoon I made a batch of super monster cookies (actually it was a half batch) - It is such a huge batch...it calls for 12 eggs and 18 cups of oatmeal! ::
:: They turned out great - a half batch is probably enough to make at least 6 dozen cookies ~ Yikes! ::

:: Thanks Rachel for the recipe - Paul thanks you ;) ::

Okay....so when I made this recipe from Rachel, I skimmed to see that I had the ingredients, then dove right in. At the "6 cups of peanut butter and 12 eggs" I should have clued in....but no, didn't realize the chaos (and lack of big enough bowl) until I was at "18 cups of oast" and had run out so was using kamut and other flakey grains to measure up!!!!!! HILARIOUS!!!!!!! 5 hours of baking later, I did have well over 7 dozen super-yummy monster size cookies!!!!!!!!

That is a HUGE recipe!!!! I think that you need to do a post with the recipe though. I'm always looking for something new to experiment with :)

Looks like there is a monster cookie trend across the Fraser Valley :) We have almost eaten the entire 1/2 batch I made last month. Although I did give away a lot as well. They are too good to resist!
Glad Paul liked them!

I agree...just post the recipe as a blog entry so we can all invest (12 eggs, 6 cups PB and 18 cups oatmeal is a small investment!) in some monster cookies.

The look delish!
