:: I don't often say this about many movies, but go and see this one...and if you are going - invite me....I would go again in a heartbeat! ::

:: It's not the movie I would typically go see but with the cast of characters, I couldn't go wrong! ::

:: So many great moments & little idiosyncrasies, that just get you from the start - So fun! ::

:: My girlfriend Laura let me borrow a whole shwack of her Christian romance novels and it's proving to be a good one. I started it on Sunday and I'm already almost 3/4 of the way through :::: I'm not sure if I like her as much as Francine Rivers - but her writing is growing on me. I'm a suck for a good story! Especially when I'm sitting outside enjoying the sun, pretending my feet are in something other than a kiddie-pool! ::

:: Hello to all of you that read this, and SO sorry for not blogging more! My life is sailing away before my eyes ::

:: I am happy to report that we have found our groove again in the L household and we are no longer going to kill each other (that would be now that Paul has a private (aka: away from me and kids) office) ::

:: The next few weeks holds lots of fun and lots of work, so I will post when I can but I'm not promising anything! ::

:: I have to say that I am back in my groove of a few other things...running, yes I am MAKING time to run again and reading - both things I love but don't often make time for! So I have now made the choice that NOW is the time! ::

:: I'm off to enjoy a veggie & chicken dinner created by my lovely man and then maybe off to a show later -- if I get my run in, if I don't I can't go. That's the rule! ::

:: We have accepted an exchange student from Japan for the next two weeks. She arrives tonight and will be staying in Cole's room {He's now bunked up with us, which Paul loves!} ::

:: We moved the crib into our room and moved my old bed {the only bed I had after my crib and before my marriage bed} into Cole's room an voila...it's now a lovely room that looks quite girlie! ::

:: Then just a mere 48 hours after we celebrated my Mom's birthday we received a fabulous phone call from my younger brother Trevor announcing that his wife Christy gave birth to their first child. A little girl! ::

:: Denay Catherine was born on July 10th @ 9:30 pm in the comfort of her very own home (you are one brave girl Christy!) ::

:: The delightful little bundle weighed in @ 7lbs 2 oz and 18 inches long ::

:: Congratulations to the two new parents - T & C, you will be great parents...just you wait! ::

:: Hello All, I'm sorry for the delay & lack of blogging -- not that I have not had a multitude of things to blog about...life has just been crazy! ::

:: So first things first...My Marms birthday -- Last week we celebrated my Mom's birthday, we started off the week by going to see the movie Kit Kitteridge ~ It was such a cute story I absolutely recommend it! ::

:: Then on her actual birthday we went to my parents place to celebrate by having a BBQ and a bon fire w/ schmores and all ::

:: It was a great night filled with lots of laughs and great food ::

:: Trevor & Christy were not able to be there for the celebration as they were waiting for their baby to arrive ::

:: Happy Birthday Marm & now Grammie to 3 little ones! ::

:: Summertime ::

:: It finally feels like it's Summertime around here. We were supposed to have rain all weekend. We didn't - It was great! ::



:: We had a fabulous time @ the Jewel concert and had a great time wandering around the casino watching all of the crazies {I'll post a separate post once I find my USB cable for my camera...apparently a set of little hands removed it from my desk} ::

:: Our BBQ on Saturday night was a success and it was great to catch up with friends that we don't often see...but it's always a perfect fit when we do get together {Again, I'll post pics once I have my USB cable} ::

:: We are heading South of the border today to stock up on the typical consumables - It's beautiful out today...hopefully we'll have time to enjoy the sunshine once we return ::

:: Please pray I find my USB cable, I have searched high and low and can't seem to locate it...It can't be too far away! ::
